    Abstract

    In the electronic equipment usually requires a rectified dc voltage using diode. Given the output side of the capacitor this would cause a large current harmonics and low power factor. In this final project developed a combined flyback converter and buck converter as power factor correction and harmonic current. In order for the flyback can improve the power factor flyback must work not continuous, where the duty cycle flyback should be fixed. In conventional converter test showed cos φ 0,47 and the current THD at 74 %. While the test converter in the final project was obtained cos φ 0.95 and current THD 29,4 %. So it could be gotherwise combined flyback and buck converters can improve the power factor value 50,52% and harmonic currents value 58,88% Keywords: Flyback Converter,Buck Converter, Harmonics
