    Abstract

    electroencephalography be used to determine the electrical signals in the brain, one of the electrical signals that have never been tried in the EEG is the study of brain signals to a person under stress. In the EEG this planning tool, designed a device that can display signals in the brain that have a first order by using reinforcement microvolt instrumentation, amplifier circuit and filter circuit. EEG signals generated will be integrated with a PC using ATmega8 microcontroller as an analog to digital data processor. Input data from the microcontroller included in the application of Visual Basic programs to be converted into a signal or graphics. This signal is smoothed by using a FIR filter to reduce noise-noise that exist and to clarify the signal. Based on trial results that have been done with FIR stress conditions for this type of arithmetic thinking and emotional state with the percentage error 2:24% to 16.65% for amplitude and frequency.
