    Abstract

At millimeter wave communication systems, fading events (weakening) greatly affect the delivery of electromagnetic waves may cause the received signal disturbed. To reduce this effect, it is necessary to control the design of power stations. This research explores the dynamics of the fade distribution model parameter measurements of rain and Fade Fade Slope Duration. This model will be applied to evaluate Fade Mitigation Tehniques (FMT) that is suitable for the climate in Indonesia, by measuring rainfall in the campus environment PENS-ITS. While the wind speed data obtained from the Meteorological and Geophysical Juanda in Surabaya. Rainfall data and wind speed were used to calculate the rain attenuation using the SST method. From the damping value, it can be calculated to determine Fade Slope at each event with rain and Fade Duration demarcate thresholdnya namely on 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 dB, which is oriented in the direction of multilink. Subsequently performed statistical calculations and Fade Fade Slope Duration can be obtained so that a statistical model and Fade Fade Slope Duration. Key Word : Fading Dynamic, Fade Slope, Fade Duration, SST Multilink. v
