Abstract
Frequency spectrum is one of the major part in wireless communication. In the use of frequency canal, every canal or channel has wide the canal is means as channel bandwith or canal. Too many people use a frequency wafe, whether legal or illegal. It causal people little use of wireless communication to allocated frequency. Therefore, the rules necessary to regulate the use of frequency. To the synchronize toward regulations with real conditions in the field, it is necessary to do an investigations on the frequency spectrum with do measurements on the power level. In addition to investigating the frequency spectrum will also make measurements on the pathloss measurements is the Okumura- Hatta, where this method has the characteristics of accurate work in urban and sub urban. Will also used the Walfish-Ikegami, where this method have high accuracy in frequency range 700 MHz up to 2 GHz. This final project produce a regional geographies information system in Surabaya regional the consist about frequency information density 700 MHz up to 3 GHz which is equipped with a power level. And view pathloss prediction in a area. So that, final outcome of this project can be utilized by the government ( Depkominfo ) as synchronization the use of frequency toward rules with the real conditions in the field. And can be utilized by the designers in the placement of wireless BTS (Communication Base Transmittion Station) in the receive power optimization in Surabaya regional.
