    Abstract

    In the study made a GIS (Geographic Information System) to do an analysis of the flood-prone occur, where the scope of the analysis that done is Surabaya. GIS is to provide information about the geography of a region, the drainage system, population density, and the center of the health service, and then collect the history data of the area and the information has been obtained above can be done later on the analysis area that have possibility / prone to flooding occurs, and the results of the analysis is expected to be a standard data collection system for flood prone areas so that makes it easy to take action against the possibility of the occurrence of floods and easier to do the evacuation of victims in case of floods. Because the system is web-based information, so it use the appropriate technology that is MapServer as web server, php, html, javascript as system builders, and the MySQL database as a data storage. In this application can display the map of flood prone areas and that information, Information nearest evacuation center that contained hospital and public health services, and other supported informations.
