Abstract
Only in a few years PHP has rapidly evolved from a small language to a powerful web development language. Nowadays PHP is used on more than 14 million web sites and currently PHP is more stable and more extended than its predecessor versions. Unfortunately applications developed using PHP is distributed in form of source code, so it has some flaws and vulnerabilities. Some deficiencies are the source code can be easily copied, modified, or used in part in any other application without notice. In addition, unencrypted source codes made developed applications are very vulnerable, because source code can reveal some weaknesses of the made application. Because of that, PHP needed a solution that can hide the source code of PHP applications that will be distributed, such as by using PHP Encoder. Where PHP Encoder in this last assignment using blowfish encryption method to encode or encrypt the data that is changing the data from the form of plain-text into cipher-text to hide the source code of PHP applications. PHP encoder can be further developed by adding the cache feature. So this system can perform the execution process of encrypted php files with a response time that is not inferior to the php file without encryption. Keywords: PHP Encoder, Encryption, Blowfish
