Abstract
In this final project develop a methods of three phase induction motors speed control through Direct Torque Control (DTC) using a sliding mode control (SMC). By using DTC methods that are implemented directly through a PC with matlab simulink connected on PCI 1710 device. PCI 1710 is used as a tool for inverter gate signal and an input signal from the sensors to estimate by the software matlab simulink. Three phase AC source converted to dc source by rectifier circuit. DC source as input inverter will convert to AC source to supply three phase induction motor. From the system hope speed of three phase induction motor will be constand trough the a sliding mode controller. From experiment result overshoot 6.344rad/s, rise time 0,0197Sec and settling time 0.14Sec when starting condition and overshoot 2.5418 rad/s, rise time 0,0113Sec and settling time 0.09Sec in variable load condition.
