Abstract

The bussinness information guide ,either goods or services are much needed by the society. Yellow pages is one of media providing the bussiness information. As the progress of mobile era and demand all things run fast, practical and effective, it is essential to have a software providing bussiness information, either goods and services, which is mobile. The solution is by making a software called Yellow Pages application J2ME based, which is instlalled in a mobile equipment which able to make a wap connection(gprs). This Final Project is developed by using the Java 2 Micro Edition(J2ME) in the form .java file. The database used is MySQL database installed in the server of the computer.The connector between the cellular phone and the database is PHP script. By this application, one doesn�t need to open a telephone book before to find the bussiness information needed. They only need to type the keyword then the business information will be shown on their cellular phone. Keyword : bussiness information, Yellow Pages, J2ME
