    Abstract

    In this final project, analysis will be done on the performance of convolutional codes on the system Parallel Interference Cancellation Multiuser Detection CDMA using QPSK modulation. Convolutional code encoder is used at the transmitter side with a rate 1/3 and the decoder at the receiver side using the Viterbi algorithm. The results of the BER curve of the function of SNR Performance with convolutional code in the PIC system is better than 7 dB without convolutional code for 10-3 BER value. For the PIC MUD system stage 3 5 dB better than the stage 2 and 3 dB compared to stage 1. The use of convolutional code with rate 1/3 better 4 dB than the rate of ½. Application of the active users 12 is better than 16 users because more and more users then the value of the required SNR increases. Key words: Convolution Code, PIC, BER, QPSK
