Abstract

In this final project, RFID technology is used in information system medical records of inpatients, as an information system to appear of patient identity. The system was used RFID reader ID-12, designed and built for RFID system and serial communications media to send information data ID number of patient from patient room to the PC monitoring. Build of information system software used programing JAVA language and MySQL for the database. The results of system testing is obtained through capturing the RFID data tag and showed that the data has received suitable with that has sent. For example ID number of patient has 410069BB31A2. Maximum range tag RFID in horizontal position to RFID reader was 5 cm. Furthermore, the RFID data tag is used for patients identity to input the data on software, made for information records of inpatients, included patient data, patient’s family, doctor who take care increasing health patient.
