    Abstract

ABSTRACT No, most of the store in the city and in the village still use manual method to do a transaction by come to the marketor by phon, Whether, in the globalization era, the internet technology developed fastly, There are stores in Indonesia use this media for their transaction rarely. In Indonesia, the security of internet network are less and the method of data security are rarely to use, so there are many hackers can tapping some information. This is the most important problem in data security. In this final project make and interaction between PHP server and J2ME client. The data was sent from client to server will be encrypted with RC4 algorithm, then it will be decrypted by server, so it become the original text dan it can be processed by server to inform to the client. The result of this final project are : RC4 encryption method is a linier algrithm because the number of plain text have the same long with the number of encryption result, whether AES software is non linier algorithm. The time of encryption/decryption process directlyfrom client to server in RC4 is about 1,125-1,492 second. Time for encryption/decryption fron client to server and server to client is about 1,265-1,625 second . Whether, AES software have The time of encryption/decryption process is about 0,3-0,4 second. The integration of client server application can not be supported for capital alphabetic and choicegroup . Keyword : Cryptography, Encryption, Decryption, RC4
