    Abstract

Today, technological advances in the industrialized world leads to the automation field that aims to simplify human work. Induction motor is one machine that is often used in various applications to realize that industri. At the last project was developed setting three phase induction motor speed using the PI control with Direct Torque Control method is used as the basis for the estimation of control parameters. By using the PI control-based Direct Torque Control, motor speed is expected to get a fast response in start and load change conditions. But the realization of this project has not been able to realize these conditions. This is due to the design of the inverter authors have not been able to meet the same input voltage with a nominal voltage induction motor. But with the matlab simulation, visible response to rotor rotation proved better rise time and settling time reduced from 0.21 seconds to 0.19 seconds and the overshoot 182 rad/sec. When given the expense, there was improvement of rotation response with a short amount of time is about 0.15 seconds, then turns back to stable response according to the reference rotation.
