Abstract
In this final project created a learning module on GIS are described on the basis of GIS, data processing, and how to built GIS applications. GIS learning module in general only give lessons in theory and not enough instruction or procedures to practice. Some software supporting GIS applications can be learned in this module. They are QuantumGIS, PostgeSQL, PostGIS, Mapserver.. In this module is also provided some clues to practice the application of GIS which completely in sample projects. It also provided examinations in each chapter, this examinations are used as a parameter of the level of user understanding. Because this system is web-based information, then use the appropriate technology that is MapServer as web servers, php, html, and javascript as a technology and system builders and the PostgreSQL database storage. All practical examples presented will be provided in the form of data collection and maps, while the value of each test is implemented by the user will be presented in a number of data and graphics data.
