Abstract

Arrangement of patient bed generally still have the character of manual and require aid of others to assist arrange bed position of bed, so that need to be developed bed position can be moved automatically by the patient. One of development which can be usage of hand sign language to control bed position. Identify gesture represent a way of used to identify human being hand position pattern to be translated by its purposes and objectives. In this final project will be made software and hardware able to identify human being gesticulating the capturer image by camera which used to control bed position. The process include colour segmentation, hand pattern detection, position detection and afterwards direction detecting to arrange the bed position go up or go down with motor as its activator.
